The people behind SAIGE.
SAIGE is led by a small management team combining research and delivery experience in African agriculture. The profiles below are illustrative while the team is being built.

African agriculture does not lack ambition or capability. What it often lacks is the evidence that lets good decisions hold up over time. Across markets, ministries and farms, choices are still made without the information that would make them durable. SAIGE was set up to help close that gap.
We have chosen to be deliberately early — to stay quiet on partners and programmes until the work can speak for itself, and to earn credibility through the quality of our analysis rather than the names we can list. That is a slower path. It is also the one that builds an institution worth trusting.
If you work anywhere across African agriculture — as a partner, a policymaker, an investor or a researcher — I would welcome you reading our work, testing it, and working with us.
